Here are a couple tricks you may or may not know

1. If you're going with some dark eye makeup, it may be a good idea to define your eyebrows to add some balance.
2. To get a brighter color, most eye shadow can be applied wet (wet brush or sponge before dipping in shadow). This usually makes it last longer, too!
3. To keep liner from smudging down under your eye, sweep powder below the line. This probably works on the top line too, i just don't have that issue. 
4. Some people skip a moisturizer because they have oily skin; however, dehydrated skin will actually produce more oil. Opt for a oil-free moisturizer - don't skip!
5. Applying powder will set most makeup and make it last longer. To apply over lipstick, grab a sheet of toilet paper and seperate the layers. Cover your lips with one layer and dust with powder.
6. To quickly freshen up greasy hair midday, shake some baby powder into it, then brush it. Now do a model-like hair flip. viola!
