Beauty in Joy

So I'm back in school at Pepperdine University in gorgeous Malibu, CA. There are quite a few stereotypes Pepperdine students have, but the most interesting is that Pepperdine students are really good looking. Not to say the people here aren't beautiful, but its statistically improbable that most people here are better looking than average. 

However, I do think I know why people say that. People here at Pepperdine are generally immensely joyful people. That's where the beauty comes from. The huge smiles, the glow. So yes Pepperdine. We are beautiful. But it's not a mere aesthetic thing. Our beauty comes from the soul of the student body.
